... decided to go and stop at Noosa Marina and we all had to pick our favourite boat......the worst Marina I have seen, hardly any boats at all! We had fish n chips for lunch and then went home. There was two exciting parts of the day - Willow has her second tooth cut (yay) and we found a ferguson street in Noosa! We had a chilled out afternoon and counting down till the footy tonight! Go Roosters! Harvey and I made a bet (the loser has to jump in his pool) for the ...

Spending a couple of recuperative days in Mooloolaba. The bay and beach is superb, less high rise than Gold Coast, but not avoided, and they are not as tall. Weather pleasant, 20 degrees and marina is close to town.
Moving slowly the first morning we arrive and then up to the fish shop for lunch. I guess you have realised we have ...

We saw Lake Coothabarra, where they chug around in their boat, Noosa Heads (surfers and beaches!), Tewania, and all the beaches and scenic views between!

          Amongst the highlights ...

... who orders "smashed avo" on wholewheat toast anyway?

We all have that relaxed view of the world that comes from really full tummies when it's finally time to pile back into the car for the return trip to Brissy (yes Peter, we do shorten words and add vowels to the end over here). Our delayed start pays off as we only experience one short delay while the crews finish clearing a previously flooded spot near the half-way ...

Time to move on....and not just because I got a speeding ticket! Leaving the house, over-nighting in Gold Coast and then flying on to KL, over-nighting there and then a really early start Saturday with a flight to Siem Reap in Cambodia. We've been busy and booked ahead most of our accommodation in Cambodia over the busy season.
Reflection on Noosa? Beautiful place, expensive, and we only really came ...
