      ... a holiday as the city was being shut down for security reasons. Noosa is about 2 hours from Brisbane and a hotspot for weekend getaways.       We set off towards Noosa with no real idea of where to go as we were now slap bang in the middle of the holiday weekend and no-where online had any vacancy at all.       ... down. A little bit of an inconvenience which dampened the sitting around the camp fire - but that is camping. The following night we had a great camp fire with clear skies.

      The Australia Zoo (Steve Irwin's) was nearby so we took the opportunity to see it. Really wrth it.

      ... stingrays and lots of jellyfish! Walking through the underwater viewing tunnels was great as we watched fish, sharks, stingrays, and turtles swim around us and over us. The Seal Show was very entertaining and informative about the different species of seals. A great afternoon.       ... crocodile, the mad trainers tempted the crocodile out of the waters making it angry to show us what the animal did when it was hunting. The trainers were made as they were properly making the crocodile angry but then giving it what it wanted when it finally did what they wanted it too.
