The next morning we rose early to head to Steve Irwin's Australia Zoo where we spent the day excitedly peering at Austalia's indigenous creatures including wallabies, cassowaries and venomous snakes. Thanks to Tom Haig for the generous xmas gift of the tickets! Ticking off two points on our travelling bucket list, we gleefully shared a cuddle with a koala and hand fed greedy kangeroos all the while posing ...

It will also teach me to extol the virtues of Singapore Airlines. With my wife on the other side of the plane using a movie screen that works and the two in front of me moving to find some others in working order, it made me wonder what the world coming to! This is Singapore Airlines! What hope ...

... Jeremy had a couple days off!! We made the most of the TV in the morning, then me and joe headed off into Brisbane. We struggled navigating Brisbane, with Sydney you've got the harbour bridge and the opera house to find your bearings from. With Brisbane, it's all sky scrapers and pretty similar looking. We stumbled upon the botanical gardens and trotted round them for a bit whilst we made a plan. We noticed a guy stood looking at something in the leaves and peered ...
