... was Maccu Picchu in Peru. Not discounting the pain in the knees, the walk (or should I say finishing the walk) was a highlight and Maccu Picchu as a place is incredible. Unfortunately, what we saw of the Amazon was a bit of a letdown. The home stay on Lake Titikaka was fantastic and we even enjoyed harvesting the Quinoa. Since we wanted to make things a little bit easier for Mary, my parents suggested that we could have breakfast outside.
