    ... all on our own in this vast landscape. A park warden came over for a chat and advised on the route we should take back for the best views. Whilst talking, I asked him about the spider that had scared me yesterday. On describing it, he told me it was a Golden Orb and would have only given me a mild bite. I don't know why we worried as the van went up the hill with ease; without hairpin bends it was able to keep the momentum going. Following the wardens ...

    ... girls, slightly off their rockers. Quote: "Ah i'm going to have to put a bra on my nips are proper sticking out". & (when talking about the new 50 shades movie) "better take a plastic bag to sit on girls"... You get the picture?! Then we've got to other people. Ones a guy and the other is undefinable, but all they do ALL DAY & NIGHT LONG is sit in the dorm watching Dr Who..... God help ...

    ... Now where to start our trip. I wanted snow and Pete had always wanted to go to Russia. Russia is notoriously hard to get a visa for so we decided to do a tour. I found a 6 day tour called the snowball. Sounded like fun. So now we leave on Boxing Day! What have we brought so far..... thermals, gloves, jackets, jumpers, socks, beanies,boots oh and a Campervan in Amsterdam! ...

    ... that there were still as many as there were still there because the
    birds of prey were coming down and take them. We then went and saw the crocodiles,
    the first pit had two little ones in it and were not moving much so we proceeded
    to the 2nd pit which had one big one called “boss hog” which moved
    its head at one stage and one other little ...

    ... National and State plated kids!! They really didn’t stand a chance but it was good to ride the track, something different including bitumen berms and surprise surprise we needed to be officials too, you just never get out of the work of a volunteer. Considering the kids were all on bikes not suited to them, had no clips on their shoes and didn’t know the track they did really well, it was freezing out their too!!!
    A drive around the suburbs of Brisbane was also undertaken ...
