... unlike so many night owls who spend the night around in the few places still open after 2 a.m. and then are at the beach only in the early afternoon.I also imposed to myself not to drink more alcohol, given that beer makes me almost nauseous and local cocktails, with bad Thai rum, cause me headaches. Now only juices and fruit smoothies, also to get used to the next caste India, where if I remember correctly, alcohol is almost taboo as in Islamic ...

... the love he gave me or the life we were creating for ourselves. I needed to ensure my inner foundation was solid before I could build up a life for myself, for someone else and for the future family I dream of having. Happy Songkran everyone! It is absolute madness here. Locals and tourists alike crowd the streets with water guns, hoses and buckets. There are trash bins filled with water and trucks rolling down the street with huge blocks of ice to chill the water. No one is safe. Women, children, cars, motorcycles, people with luggage, everyone is fair game. I should have invested in a water gun and I think I still might of the celebration is as crazy on Phi Phi as it is ...

    Another quick update

A travel blog entry by briiahna on Jan 26, 2013

Hello! So Friday I slept all day! I didn't get out of bed until 6pm. I felt a lot better but still having trouble coping with the heat. Last night I thought I should go out for a walk and enjoy the cool night air. I ended up having a massage which was really good, and then as soon as that was over it started to rain. It rained non stop for about 2 hours. It was sooooo nice. The massage place lent me an umbrella so I could ...
