David says being underwater on a single breath is a feeling like no other -- peace and a deep, deep calm. It's like going home.

... as this busy town awoke. Buddhist monks walk the streets early each morning carrying large baskets, and locals fill these baskets with offerings of fruit, bread, yoghurts etc. The monks in turn bless their followers. an enigma to this westerner seeing 'ladies of the night, bar owners, and other shady characters, humbling themselves before the gentle monks.

By weeks end, we were 'Patongged out',and couldnt wait for the next part of our holiday

... the main port of Phi Phi, and was fairly average. I think we’ve been too spoiled with some really amazing food on our trip so far, so when we have a “normal” tasting meal it makes us sad. How sad is that!
