... a lychee in appearance, but segmented a bit like an orange. It was lovely – very juicy and tasted a bit like a nectarine and a lychee. Need to go to the supermarket to get some more of these as they don’t sell them in the UK. We are on the hunt for more exotic fruits as Australia seems to have an abundance of them.

Surfers Paradise, Queensland, Australia suziebabe007... will be another 2 dollars. Then there is the soap - masses of it, all claiming to be made in some special place in Oz. Im hunting for the ultimate gift to bring home but nothing inspires me. Its easy to get an object, wrap it up and then splash the name of the area on it and flog it to the tourists. I immediately love Surfers Paradise. Everybody I have spoken too has hated it. But I cant find anything to hate about it. Its warm, the beach is beautiful ...
Surfers Paradise, Queensland, Australia clairebr... style, has a swimming pool and a nice garden, why is there nobody here? It is 3 km from the city but walking distance to pubs, restaurants, supermarkets and the beach. We recommend it! Priorities: Hard Rock Café, of course! I have an Aussie burger, would you believe? It has lots of onions and beetroot. Afterwards, we walk along the beach and in the pub street. Dr T orders a bottle of nice bubbles and ...
Surfers Paradise, Queensland, Australia tonyandmarina... We ended up moving to a place in Broad Beach, which was a great choice. For one, the new hostel had a basketball goal! I didn't realize I was going through withdrawal, but I think I was because I thoroughly enjoyed being able to shoot some hoops. Plus the place was clean and had free laundry facilities. The four girls we met in Byron Bay were all in Surfer's Paradise by the time we got there, so ...

( http://www.vanuatutourism.com/ ) It looks absolutely amazing, I cant wait to kick back and relax, maybe do some snorkelling or island hopping (seen as there's 83 islands). Then I will be heading to Perth to work for a bit. If my second year visa comes through ...
Surfers Paradise, Australia littlewiggle... he'd travelled the world extensively so got chatting to myself and the Canadian, Peter was a pretty funny guy to be fair and ended up on my bus to Byron Bay (at 4am!) and told me I was stupid for not asking the Canadian for his e-mail and how a young lass like me should be with some nice guy - he got to the point where he told me about a 32 year old vet he knows, distance runner, right up my street who would love to meet a young lass like me and have kids ...
Byron Bay, Australia amandaseims... by the name. It is however a great resort-vacation town, with beautiful beaches and heaps to do! we went a little farther south and managed to catch the final of the 2007 Bilabong classic surfing championships! Man these guys are pretty good. Just down the beach from the champions, We were introduced to boddy boards. Kinda like surf boards but ...
Surfers Paradise, Australia mrewkowski... I headed off to work at Peterpans again. Before I left the room I took the opportunity to check through my stuff to make sure nothing had been nicked, as you can't be too careful these days, especially when your sharing a room with a scouser! Suprisingly, nothing had been nicked. Work was spent dossing round again, I had to run a few errons for Gaz but apart from that nothing else worth mentioning happened. I got back to the room at 6 and was pleased to see that the psychotic Aussie ...
