... with terraces and lots of metal lattice work. Our compound has large metal fencing with a checkered walkway and a turret on top. We have learned that we are in an infamous part of Melbourne where things get quite busy in the late evening and early hours. We noticed on our first walk to the beach that there were some individuals who would be at home at Main ...

... sustainable. Everyone uses different bins for paper, bottles and rubbish. More importantly everyone seems to do it. Even the poo from outdoor venues goes to worm farms. ... for our flight out to New Zealand. We had to say goodbye to Ed and Julia which was difficult but were planning a night out just the four of us. We had a fabulous Japanese meal that evening and ended up in a funky bar - a classic David Bailey/Michael Caine portrait on the wall, some old vinyl playing behind the bar, good company and good wine - it was a groovy night.

And all of a sudden we’re half way through our trip. It’s all going so fast it’s scary.
