On the 2nd day we did our organised half day tour of the D-day landing beaches. So much to cover and I picked the Omaha beach since it would take at least a full-day to cover them all. We met Eric Le Doux-Turnbull at 830am at our hotel. He's originally from Scotland, about our age and moved about 6 years to Normandy to what he loves - WWII history. Today we woke up at Lisa's and she took us to the train station to take the train to Bayeux. It was a bit stressful, because all the transportation we needed to take lined up within ten minutes of each other, so if we missed anything, it would mess everything up.
