Much to everyone's surprise, an unprecedented heat wave has begun attacking the great Northwest. Not for nothin’, but it’s starting to get hot here. Lunch was barely over and I was into siesta mode, which was interrupted by people taking dinner reservations. Way more fancy ...

Mileage: 68 miles Altitude Gain: 3800 ft. Ride Time: 6:15 hrs. Total Time: 8:5 hrs. Terrific day of riding today! We left early because we thought that the climb up to Mt. Bachelor pass was gong to be hard but it was only a 5%-6% grade and we did it in about 3 hrs. After cresting the pass we were greeted bay a magnificent view of 5 snow capped peaks. It really was a spectacular ride. Tonight we finally camped out at E.Davis Lake CG. My hammock ...
