Much to everyone's surprise, an unprecedented heat wave has begun attacking the great Northwest. Not for nothin’, but it’s starting to get hot here. It was okay, however the New York cheesecake with strawberry topping that I had for dessert was positively devine!! And that's coming from somebody who doesn't usually eat cheesecake!!
Lunch was barely over and I was into siesta mode, which was interrupted by people taking dinner reservations. Way more fancy ...

Mileage: 68 miles Altitude Gain: 3800 ft. Ride Time: 6:15 hrs. Total Time: 8:5 hrs. Terrific day of riding today! We left early because we thought that the climb up to Mt. Bachelor pass was gong to be hard but it was only a 5%-6% grade and we did it in about 3 hrs. After cresting the pass we were greeted bay a magnificent view of 5 snow capped peaks. It really was a spectacular ride. Tonight we finally camped out at E.Davis Lake CG. My hammock ...
