... fun, but none of us could stay up that late. We are still adjusting to the time difference. We fell asleep at about 9:30 New Zealand time and woke up around 7 so I think we definitely got enought sleep. It's a running joke for us that we work really hard to find work, but I suppose that is what we'll be doing today, walking long distances and turning in resumes practically everywhere. We all miss everyone at home, but are doing fine and still having fun.

Steve took advantage of the weather by going climbing. He arrived home looking absolutely beat and with a few bits of skin missing from his fingers, but to each his own. He seemed happy.

On the way we have the coastal mountains on one side and the ocean on the other. Surfers are out on the ocean and we stop at the seal colony and see parents and baies frolicking in rocky ocean pools. Whale watching is also available in this part of the country. But we push on down the coast to Christchurch and our next adventure.
