With our A position boarding we managed to get the exit row.... Well Heather and I did and Tim and Rodd were in the row in front, while we were waiting in LA I had checked out on TripAdvisor which side of the plane is best for the view when landing in Vegas so we got a good look at the strip. Definitely recommend visiting Alcatraz but we would've preferred to have done the night tour but unfortunately it was fully booked for the days we were there. After Alcatraz we went on a chocolate factory tour, which was free, we got to find out about the whole chocolate making process and then tasted lots if different chocolates at the end. ... set off yesterday. We picked our hire car up from the airport. We've decided to do it properly and hired a muscle car, it's a camaro 2ss convertible. It's stunning! We drove 4 hours to Las Vegas posing with the roof down. Staying in the Bellagio, so after checking in and freshening up we went down to a bar to meet our friends. It was so good to see everyone after 9 months apart, we had a few drinks together then walked over to a shopping mall for pizza ...
... way back we stopped to get more soup for Mike and Mercina had a go at the aqua massage. She really enjoyed it too although she said it tickled quite a bit.
Mike was a little better this evening so he came out for dinner with us. The girls are watching tv in the RV park lounge and I am dealing with yet more laundry.
We may not have internet access tomorrow so it may be a few days before I update this ...
