I had a really nice day in Skopje. It was raining first thing this morning, but I didn't let that deter me. I left Pansion Bianco and went to their sister hotel in the city center to have breakfast. It was probably the most complete breakfast I’ve had in a month. It was a cheese omelet (with cheddar and feta), bread, salad, and juice. ... liquors). The people are friendly, but the party is moderated by a 12:00 p.m. cutoff on every day except Friday and Saturday, and I was here Tuesday through Thursday nights. Plus, like Kosovo, the country is quite poor and has 30% unemployment, so there is a lot of drink/coffee nursing. They know how to make that 1 Euro cuppa at a cafe last.
