The rest of the trip I did not feel comfortable. I'd always had this impression of Bulgaria being rough and abusive. I know my hotel already charged me for three nights up front when I made the reservation when none of the other hotels did this. I was half expecting them next to deny charging me when I arrived and ask me to pay again.

Well we had a great sleep and got up to BUREK! Which Sinisa promptly had a fit over it because last night he had told his grandparents NOT to buy anything for us we would get up and go do our own thing, I was secretly happy hahaha. (this same thing literally happened every day last year sinisa having a fit because they would go out and buy us fresh Burek every morning!) ... we would be able to conduct a press conference at the end of the week. Cool enough, this isn't just training for us, we will actually have a real press conference, with real journalist from around the way! For me it was wonderful to finally be at a cafana and see what its like to “be Macedonian” at home SInisa is always explaining things to me about the Cafanas and the people playing music and singing and I know how much he wanted that in this trip and here we are on our last night being serenaded and loving it!
