... back so that is a plus. Cost of living is relatively cheap. Gas is about 1.25 per liter, lunch runs about 5-10 euros, we can fill up our whole fridge for 75 euros, and the train can get us just about anywhere for cheap.

We stopped on the outskirts of Hannover for a quick visit with Pete's second cousins Herbert and Vicky. Peter hadn't seen them since he was a kid. We thought we would just stay for a cuppa then go see the city. How wrong we were. I should have known better seeing as they are part of the Haggis family. ... book and spent most of his time trying to keep track of Ann and Melody as they shopped. It was easy some times as Dave stayed with Ann and Benta with Melody. But at times Dave felt like a spy keeping track of two groups at the same time. Ann said it was like having a body guard. ... city after the bombings of WWII was both interesting and terrifying at the destruction man will do to man. Martin then went to get the car and we drove back to Schende.

We had a light supper of bread and cheese and Martin and Bentas son Nicoli came to the house. We had a great evening discussing everything from nuclear power (Martin is a Physicist) to Mechanical engineering. It was a very nice evening.

... as nice as the Lutheran one as it has been rebuilt more modern rather than following the older original style. some of the are is in the old style but the church proper looks more modern. There is an old door from a hospital on display as art work which is really beautiful.
