... flight to Dallas, where my lovely wife was waiting for me. I was home by about 10:00 but it felt like late afternoon. The whole trip from the time I left the hotel for the airport until I arrived home had taken about 35 hours.

... Carlsbad we drive to Dallas. Best known for the murder of John F Kennedy in 1963. We visit the place where it happened and meet a guy who was there in 1963. He was 13 years old at the time and is convinced there was more than one shooter. Every day you can find him on the grassy knoll , telling his story and selling magazines that support his view. Today is lazy Sunday Funday. So far today we've taken our walk to Starbucks and we're thinking about going to pick up some pumpkins to carve and have some ribs and twice baked potatoes in the oven.
