Yesterday, I tried to fix my stay at a guest ranch in the Texas Hill Country. However, the ranch of my choice is closed for a week due to a family wedding. I have checked for alternatives, but I either do not like the ranch or it is way too expensive. Therefore, I will jump on a horse in New Mexico or Arizona. Making loud noises, putting the light on, snorring crazy, clogging the toilet, jumping around in the upper bunk, very limited respect. Under these circumstances I had my difficulties catching sleep. Am I getting too old for a dorm?

We head to Bloomingdales - closed, we decide to walk back to the hotel avoiding Times Square as much as possible as we were walking two blocks away but could hear all the commotion. We reach the hotel and all you can hear outside as sirens and lots and list of noise. How I wish I was back in ...

A travel blog entry by jlb43409 on May 20, 2014

... at 430 and decided to get some things done before our trip. Since I was in training all last week, I was feeling a bit stressed regarding still playing catch-up on work stuff. With coffee and my laptop, I was able to get through many of my outstanding emails that had been languishing at the bottom of inbox. I also had three conference calls and was starting to feel good about leaving for 2 weeks. I was able to stop around 9am and start packing...yes, ...
