We walked past the Savannah Police Station and they had a couple of antique police cars out the front. This car still has a few blood stains from a fight outside a nearby bar which does not exist anymore. The police were set upon by the drinkers because they were asking the men to move off the road. Some reminded me of things my grandmother made as I was growing up - johnny cakes, collard greens, fantastic fried chicken, poppy seed dressing, banana pudding........... 6/4/12 – We left Michelle, Brett and Danielle in Apex, NC at 8:20 AM, 68 degrees and headed for Savannah, Ga. It was not raining when we left, but it rained most of the trip to Georgia. The storm was following us down the road.
