There was much nature that we saw - turtles in almost every anchorage, a few dolphins along the way; dawn in Kapi Creek with the sounds of roosters crowing, dogs barking, bird calls, donkeys braying, and goats bleating. Frustration and a definite tinge of sadness sum up the first part of the day. The frustration revolved around poor internet connections when we had some business matters which needed attention. The sadness was because we were sitting inside whilst the family enjoyed the pool during our last few precious hours at the Loryma. ... road it was over 30Km and there were some serious switchbacks and slopes to contend with as we came over the spine of the peninsular. Dave was triple challenged. He had to read the GPS, get Brutus along the route whilst watching in his mirror as his wife manoeuvred the Ford. Oh, add to that he was in full protective kit at 34°C air temperature and not moving fast enough for the wind chill to help.

We walked down to the restaurant and were intrigued by the containers of water at every bend. Water - to bus used in the event of a fire!
Our walk took us along the sea front at dusk - so picturesque but a huge new hotel may have an impact. Unfortunately the road is too narrow to safely walk back, at night. This meant we said no to the deserts!

Aydin comes up trumps with his table choice for us, right at the front of the terrace overlooking the whole of the bay with Marmaris shimmering on the horizon...
