... holy windy...we had to stop on the hiway coming south as the crosswinds were trying to tear the awnings off the side of the RV. Standing in the fuel stop, in shorts was not unlike standing in a sandblaster...don't know how anyone tolerates living there....the good thing is that we have turned east and now have a tail wind. And so for our first night out, we had hoped to make Fort Peck as we have been here before and it is usually a good place ...

... for the rest of the trip. Thankfully, we found a darts game that had small Minion toys, and I managed to win one. You'll probably be seeing a lot of Dave from now on anyway - I can see it becoming more of a tour for him than us. At least Stewart (Anna's other Minion teddy) will have a friend when we eventually get back home.

The next mission was to find something to eat for tea. Carrying on with the unhealthy theme, I hunted out a Maple Donut Bacon Burger - ...

... would call it a storm! Lucky we were in the train shelter, it was glass all around with a door, cosy and dry. Bought some organic strawberries yes large and yummiest. The weather improved and was a lot warmer this pm, so went for a walk along McLeod Trail, a 6 lane highway, going past our hotel, and goes downtown. There was a Footpath. Tomorrow we are hoping to go to Heritage Park.:) ...
