          ... museum we walked along the main street to a marina almost completely surrounded by high brick walls except for an opening for the boats to use to go to sea. The marina was almost completely empty of water and the boats were sitting on the mud. The rise and fall of the tide is amazing and, as we were there, the tide turned and the sea began to fill the marina.

          On Friday morning we left Cardiff to travel to Plymouth where we will spend 3 nights. Most of the journey was on the motorway and the traffic was not very heavy. We were happy that we were travelling south, rather than north, as the northbound traffic was very, very heavy and very slow for at least 30 miles.
