... there is no Pork in Dubai at all by the way). Unfortunately we couldn't even be naughty and have a piece of amazing cheesecake as we were too full :-( next time though! (a side note - this was officially the latest dinner we have ever had! By the time we got to the mall and was served it was 11.05pm haha!!!! Also you cannot buy alcohol at any restaurant either - the only place that sells it are Hotel bars! They've got the market under the thumb ...

... comprised of chicken and lamb on skewers, lamb koftes, lamb chops and chargrilled vegetables - utterly delicious! As the courtyard is open air, we dined under the stars as the sun went down, sipping our juices and as the restuarant slowely started to fill up with groups of men puffing on their shisha's; we drank in every minute in the realisation this was actually, finally, our last night of our epic six week extravaganza! And we have LOVED LOVED LOVED every minute!!

... look at fake bags. We followed this bloke up stairs and into a room. We wondered where we were going but the white slave trade didn't need two old birds we decided. there were several other tourists there so that's ok then. I bought a pair of fake sunglasses Rayban. I did need a pair! Carole wanted a bag but didn't buy thinking that she would find one cheaper in Thailand.

... lucky with the light. Almost sundown and I can tell you, the sundown is quick here. So I decided to claim the best spot right above the Financial District and wait. Bags were not allowed and I didn't bring the massive tripod. So I dealt with natural obstacles to get my pictures, because it was pretty dark. But I'm pleased with the result. You can see Dubai and it's natural boundary; the sea. You can also see the light changing to darkness. ...
