I walk for a good couple hours along the coast path. Very scenic. Then I make my way back to town. It starts to rain, I find shelter and wait for it to let up. I then find a nice bench to lie flat on and take a siesta. It's sunny and warm again, so peaceful. The ferry arrives again and we depart at 4PM. Tons more people walking ...

... French tourism office, they closed at 17:00, it's 2 minutes till then. Scrambled in there and asked for some help to find a place as well as find info on Belle-Ile. Great, thanks and merci! Booked 2 nights and then hauled all my **** to room 219. Quiet, peaceful. And a toilet seat! Took a shower and cleaned up ...

So after a quick lunch we changed into our swim wear, which in the case of Paul had to be speedos as the general swimming pool rules in France insist on no baggy shorts so budgie smugglers it has to be!!! Okay i've just been corrected, they're not speedos they're swim shorts......but still lycra hee hee. Anyway off we trotted to the spa only to be told that due ...

From Rennes a drive through lovely rolling country. Small fields and extensive woodlands with few fences, the majority of the land being used for cropping. Quite a contrast to the landscape at home.

The guide book informed us that the short side trip to Josselin was worth a view, so off we went. Josselin, named after a seventeen year old lad who entered the jousting ...
