Dublin to Barcelona.

3am rising today. The shower water was lukewarm for some reason. Packed bags, Kevin and Maurice lugged them down stairs to the Taxi which picked us up at 4am. Simple checkin and boarding and an easy pleasant 2.5hr flight to Barcelona. No meals, so we all had a zizz. Lovely warm weather, pleasant, not humid or piercing sun like we have, and yet the temp was higher. Taxi to the apartment where we put our bags in ...

Toulouse is a spectacular city situated on the Garonne River. It is a rather large city, but it has a small town feel. Although there is a metro, there is no need to use it as a ...

... walking back, there it was. So cassoulet for two in a place that filled upstairs and down in the next half an hour.

To those for whom I have cooked cassoulet, I apologise, it won't happen again. I now have a benchmark and an understanding. Also, we go to Carcassone tomorrow, the home of the dish ... I will seek to learn more and return like Jack with the secrets of the magic beans. Observation number two: only eat this for ...
