Went to Bagel Talk this morning for breakfast and had scrumptious bagels with cream cheese. We then went for a long walk in Central Park to work off brekky. Bought our subway tickets and jumped a train eventually as there were a lot of track works going on the line we needed. It was very hot in the subway. So, we started the walking food tour of Greenwich Village at 11am and, having checked in with our host Bert, we set off for our first tasting. There were 15 of us on the tour and Bert knew all our names. Our first stop was at Joe's Pizza. An original New York pizza shop dating back to 1975. ... the cruise we saw several big black helicopters flying around over New York and then came an announcement that our cruise plan was modified as the East river was closed for Mr President's visit. Meanwhile Stephen out exploring, sited the president's helicopter. A bit exciting!
