Early start, an awesome breakfast and dressed in my wedding clothes I set out for the DVA offices for a meeting. Corinne stayed at the hotel and took herself out for a long walk through the streets of Hamburg.

... checking out all the fancy stuff like showers, toilets and beds we walked down the harbor with our host Matthias, for a few pre dinner drinks. The pub we went to was on an old light ship. The ship is essentially a moving lighthouse that was used in the past to mark the ever shifting sandbanks for ships at sea.

... Strand International, ACSI 581). Pretty basic with a toilet block only in the motorhome area and main facilities and showers etc. up the road and across the dyke but at 13euro a night, it's just what we needed for this quick journey breaker.
