... we discovered one of the pitfalls of being a tea picker: leaches. The wet weather brought them out in droves, and I had to quickly get over my own phobia of them to ensure that we didn't have all 3 children freaking out every time we stepped out of the door. They did really well - even Zach (!) - as each walk involved removing at least 5 or 6 leaches.
