... his younger days. We bought the boat tickets and returned to this kindly old gent who tried again to get our business stating that the tour group would be no more "than a ten to twelve a people". Having had no better offers and no real plan for the day we shook on the deal and he introduced himself as "my name a Salvatore. You remember, my name a Salvatore". Both simply delicious !!! After we had enjoyed the coffee ...

We had to swap between the large coach and some small minibuses to get to the quay, so while waiting for the minibuses to arrive, some of us went into the factory where they make specialised inlaid furniture using the ...

... and other coast towns. To add to the crush are cruise ships dumping thousands of ship bound tourists on the town for the day. Thankfully a lot of the tourist groups are in tours so they are herded onto little tourist buses and are not jockeying for space on the 'city' buses. The buses have seats for about 10 and standing room for another 10 or 12. The roads on the island are extremely narrow so small is the order of the day.
