Reunion is a part of France, not just a overseas protectorate like Noumea or Tahiti, but an actual prefecture of France. It is a circular Island with a diameter of about 80 km with mountains rising almost straight out of the sea up to nearly 10000ft, higher than it is volcanic in origin and still has an active volcano which last erupted in 2012. Because the ship ...

We say a sad farewell to Nathalie, Thierry, Julie, Tibor and Ilyen but not before we have been given rum punch for ourselves, Greg and Grandma Joan. Sue also has a wonderful basket, handmade by one of Thierry's ...
