We got to Petersfield where we stayed at the Cricketers Inn.
That night Heather met us to take us to their place for a meal. It was good to see both Mike and Heather who we hadn't seen for 5 years. They were annual visitors to Jajarawong for many years.

Camping in Lancing
We picked up the trail from Beeding Hill with excellent views of the impressive Lancing College and it's chapel of gothic spires. Sheltered from the rain at Truleigh Hill YHA and cycled across Edburton Hill, past Devil's Dyke and dropping off at Ditching Beacon.

An early start was in order today as we knew we had to get to Hilltop as it opened to get on the car park. We packed up and headed for our favourite Morrison's, which was not far from the campsite. The staff were friendly and we were able to change the pitch we had been allocated very easily. Reasonable good hotel. Nice to have sheets and blankets instead of doona. Toilet flush is a bit hit and miss. Food seems to be quite good.
