... Elizabeth and I felt like little kids as we walked to the tram stop to go meet up with friends. The bar was packed and we ordered a couple of beers as we waited for the others to arrive. We had a fun time socializing and I really, really like all of Elizabeth's friends that she has made in her six months that she has been in Amsterdam...good people for sure. I started getting hungry around 10:30 -11ish and decided against tasting the gin for fear ...

The tour had booked out the VIP room ( cabin) where we all had a huge piece of homemade apple pie & coffee. Ferry ride took approx 30 mins. When we arrived in Volendam we embarked on another walking tour and then had some free time to ...

... displays are wonderful. The museum is 4 floors & spans from the 1100's to 2000. Following our visit to the museum we walked to a nearby canal & took a 75 min. canal cruise. It was very relaxing & boated through most of the major canals. Amsterdam has some 88 canals. We saw many houseboats lining the canals. We hadn't been aware there were so many. The canals themselves used to be 3 meters deep, but are ...
