      Woke up on the ship AmaDante this morning and had an early wonderful breakfast with many choices. On offer were fresh fruits berries and cereals and all juices and many breads and crussants and eggs done anyway requested.We opted for fresh fruit , cereals ,and custom made omelettes.

      Then it was off for the first half day excursion trips.

      Overnight we docked in Amsterdam. Upon opening the curtains we discovered that we are parked next to the Scenic Diamond. The two boats have been chasing each other since Budapest so obviously Scenic and Avalon do the same route. The Scenic boat's cabins have balconies but, as the width of the boat is limited by the width of the locks, their cabin interior is smaller and has a different design.
