    ... beers often add other flavors like caramel and licorice, and that is what makes it unique. She then showed us the old areas where the beer was mixed, and wow, it did show its age. The old fermentation room had grids on the floor for the barrels and our guide told us how back in the day they would transport the beer to homes via the canal. That is pretty cool. At the end we got to sample a glass in the tasting room.

    ... it's probably good they're not in Aust because we had to go twice in our 4 day stay for their waffles and icecream, yummo.

    ... think I've mentioned the bells!! There are loads of churches and each one has a belfry therefore you constantly hear bells chiming. It's beautiful. In Ypres, I swear they went every 5 mins.
