Took a short walk down by the Rideau River.

Had a wonderful dinner at the Byward Market at The Empire Grill with Karen & Mitch.What fun - sharing stories, laughing, and people watching. Then home to take care of the sweet dog who had to have some teeth extracted today.

Today we had to get up at 0600 so that the cases could be collected at 0700 and we had to leave at 0800. We had a breakfast in the room because it would have been touch and go to go down to a restaurant. The journey to Ottawa was very long five hours and very hot and tiring! The bags and box are packed. My to-do list is complete. I am currently sitting in my parents' car on the way to Trudeau International Airport. My anxiety is decreased perhaps due to the fact I have been running around all day, or because of the number of people praying for my safe travels. I have resigned to the fact that the unknown parts of my trip will remain unknown until I have experienced them. That takes a great deal of trust.
