We are heading South...eventually to South Carolina. We have leased a house on Edisto Beach just outside of Charleston, one of our favourite cities. Our chosen route will allow us to see places we haven't been to before and manage roads less travelled. We are taking our time.

Our first stop though is a familiar one. We will sign the Guestbook at the Granata Welcome Inn yet again, and share some time with Carrie and Rob before we head away in the morning.

... on the other hand I can say that I have been there done that! I loved what I saw but the city itself is dirty and the beggars and hawkers were overwhelming. We have arrived in Nice by train. ... Sorry Mum but I didn't need to bring gloves because I was the only one who was that cold & Ducko has 900 pairs so I was covered. Managed to get the ealry start as planned, had a fast food brekky at a Canadian equivalent to McDonalds, then got to the start of ny old city walk by 9:30 am.
