      ... around lunch found a Q8 (Kuwait) service station and had lunch in the Cafe, two lovely Pasta dishes, Jens came with Mussels which then turned into my meal. Calabrian food is a bit spicier than other areas it was just lovely. We found Crotone which is very low socio economic with lots of African Asylum Seekers wondering the streets and competing with the hundreds of Gypsys for cash.       Well after our P & O version a couple years ago this was bigger and better. Kids latched onto a family of kiwis and are pumped as bro. So we have hardly seen them since we got on board.       ... but rather 20 minutes past it. Panic set in at this point. Desperately, I turned to the first person I saw who happened to be a pretty Italian women. I asked if she spoke English and she indicated a little. We were able to explain we had really missed our stop and she kindly took us to the correct train to head back into Rome.       ... permitted. In fact it turned out to be free!!! Eventually we had a nice lunch at a Michelin listed restaurant called Trullo D’Oro. Nice ravioli and veal escallops. Yes we are trying to cut down. Another highlight was face timing Olivia as everyone was at Matthew’s place for Nana’s birthday. Wish we could also be there. Lovely during day but it is cooling down again now.
      Alberobello really feels like a fairy tale town or Smurf ...
