... against a strong outgoing tide was quite a workout. Did see egrets, kingfisher and ibis on the way in. Had to hold onto something when stopping to look to keep from being pulled back out.

... which is only a twice daily occurrence 6am or 1.30pm. Obviously we opted for the later as we have had far too many early mornings!! It didn't take us long to settle into jungle life - sleeping in hammocks, being woken up by howler monkeys and completing various surveys!!
