... this juice called Cas or Kas or something like that. It is made from a fruit that grows on the tree outside. They are tiny hard little green balls and it is the best juice ever. Rhea Lynn reminds me I say that frequently about EVERYTHING, but really, this is the best tasting juice ever and everyone here agrees. I don’t even know how to explain it. It is sweet and sour and unlike any other fruit I’ve ever had before.

Got to the point where we could go no further because there is a tree blocking the way and cannot be moved without some way the saw or break it in half so we headed back. John helped get the kayaks back up and Tom Kayak was working and so we stopped and talked about birds for awhile before heading in to clean up and fix lunch.

One of the first things we did when we got to Cabinas Jimenez was to check on the kayaks and make sure they were available and find out about the tide times. We were in luck because on our first day high tide was going to be at 5:30 a.m. According to Captain John you have about three hours before and 3 hours after posted high tide to be out on the water.
