... brunch caused me to wake up at four with the howler monkey alarm clock and start scribbling down ideas in my journal. Having a craving for Chinese food I decided a savoury veggie fried rice with omelette strips and an accompanying tropical fruit salad. Simple but delicious - I provided the group a meal to last the day and further supported my new skills on the stove, ditching the recipe book, simply cooking with the senses.
