On our way to Venice we stopped in Verona, the place where Romeo and Juliet is set. We saw Juliet's balcony, toured a bit of the town and had some free time. ... The main reason we went was to see all the display details and interior design that was done by Carlo Scarpa. Although I can't complain at all about Verona I do have to rank it my #6th favorite city out of 6. After sketching at the museum, we got back on the bus and drove to Vicenza.

... cafe which was amazing. Our dessert was another gelato from the same shop we previously got them from. We were making our way through the menu.

Once we were stocked up with our gelato we headed towards Juliet's balcony and then onto Juliet's tomb. It was amazing how touristy Juliet's balcony was. There were hundreds and hundreds of engraved padlocks everywhere and writing all over the walls. It was crazy.

Man kicks dog kicks cat kicks mouse etc. Sitting on our balcony overlooking the terrace writing this and doing OU course work before heading back out to the city and gong up another tower which is open 'til 11 on Fridays. Sipping some Danish beer which is 12% and cost me less than one euro, he he. Would totally recommend Verona, very similar to Bologna, chilled, relaxed, great food ...
