Borough Edinburgh

We are visiting the UK and Norway at the end of May and first part of June in 2010. I have never been to Europe and am very excited about it.

Our daughter has been attending Kingston University this past year so we are going to see her, travel and pack her up to come home. We have family in Stavanger so we don't need hotels and ...

... without it but I guess a lot of people will have lots of memories of their time there.
I had thought of going to Raith Rovers game but changed my mind the day before traveling - good job I did - the Raith match was cancelled!

Anyway - enjoyed the game. Ended 2-0 to Alloa who now move into the promotion contention in Scottish League two.

... itself was such a shock. It was like a combination of London and Vienna. Such gorgeous old buildings, I couldn't wait to explore..

We boarded a purpose built boat and did
the real touristy thing along with a couple of bus loads of Danes and
Norwegians. The boat motors into the gondola which is filled with
water. Its tied off to the side and a ramp is closed behind it then
then wheel rotates on a central axle and 4 minutes later you have
been hoisted 35 metres into the air. After a short cruise through
the new tunnel the boat returns via the Wheel ...

We walked across the swing-bridge that spans the canal connecting Loch Ness to Loch Lochy (lake lakey?), stopping to snap a photo of the large Nessie-shaped topiary next to the canal, and to the kiosk where they were selling the tickets for the Royal Scot. Sep 22nd 2007 to Sep 24th Sep 2007 - Edinburgh, Scotland As Andrea didn't have tickets for the Scotland game, only Fraser went up to Edinburgh to see the All Blacks play Scotland where he caught up with an old work colleague of his (Anna).
