We enjoy a reasonably early breakfast and head off to St Emilion just after nine thirty. On arrival the car park was almost empty- a total contrast to yesterdays crush. We spend an hour walking around the town noses glued to the windows of wine merchants. We are finally drawn into one and end up buying a cheap bottle of Pomerol-a bargain at only 35 euros! ... your level of enthusiasm for the weather quite yet). But I no longer go to school in shorts and a t-shirt only to find out its actually going to be pouring when I get out of class. Similarly, since having internet I haven't shown up to class a sweaty mess because I thought a sweater, pants and boots were appropriate attire for the "cold weather", when it was actually just overcast, but still muggy and warm. So yes, the internet has been working wonders for me.
We have now completed our wonderful week on the Canal Du Midi.
Since my last post we have now become experts at maneuvering those lochs and we each had our jobs and worked as a team really well.
