    ... hose of some sort. Really interesting! We walked around town a bit looking at murals and a few buildings done by a famous architect. Then we walked up to the fortress, although we chose not to walk around it too much. Not that exciting. After a nice lunch and WC stop, we went back to the crafts street for some serious SHOPPING! Mom bought a silver bracelet, and I found some nice earrings ...

    ... a giant inflatable Nescafé mug and someone talking over a loudspeaker. I found out the next day that there was a mountain biking festival going on; cyclists were biking through the hills next to VT, down the hill of Varusha (the old town), emerging at this monument junction and then continuing through the town. We didn't get to see any of the actual cycling though.

    ... city centre bus station and bought our bus tickets to Pamporovo. A light lunch while we waited and we were soon on our way. 4 hours later, we arrived in a snowy Pamporovo. We checked in to our apartment in Grand Monastery. We bought some brekkie groceries in the supermarket and then settled down for the night, after a beer or 2 of course!     ... and I went out for dinner at Han Hadji Nikoli. We all ended up ordering the same things; tarator to start and then chicken breasts stuffed with mozzarella and wrapped in prosciutto, with vegetables and a baked potato with garlic butter and rosemary. We were all too full for dessert!
