... in the last blog. We purchased an induction cooktop so we can cook. Last night we had Rice-a-roni with chicken-one pot!!

So this morning after breakfast, we hopped in the car and headed south. The sun is shining with scattered clouds, but we have cell reception and WiFi for the time we are in this area. But this evening we will once again be back in the dead zone of east central MO.

... entry. It is very close to Hannibal, MO. We checked in and drove for another two miles to get to our site. We backed into our site and started to hook-up. I put the jacks down and marveled at how much more level we were than while in Sedalia. Plugged the surge protector in and waited for it to do it's thing. It finished and we plugged in the coach. POP, the surge protector went off. We went through the set up again with the same results. ...

... Then we went into a room full of oak barrels. This is where the wine is "resting" and getting ready to bottle. After the tour we got to taste several of their wines. There were a couple of dry ones, but for the most part they were pretty good (as far as my educated palate could tell). There were three that stood out for me, so of course I had to buy them. Now I have 7 bottles of wine to carry around for the next 2 months, because I know I will not drink them all.

Because how else does one one prepare for a hike except by downloading apps?

It's dawning on us that we really are doing this in just a month. I keep googling "TMB fitness level" hoping to find reassurance that my daily flat walks to and from work are somehow preparing me for mountain trekking. Google has not offered much reassurance as of yet.

Tonight Mike is reading our guidebook and I'm testing Travelpod.

Work was the same as usual, scan a book, shelve a book. Lunch was pretty good, sandwich, chips and an apple. The afternoon was a long four hours, full of lies and deceit.
