What's the capital of Thailand? Bang-cock! Geoff didn’t enjoy that joke too much…So we made it. We met the craziest taxi driver at the airport who spoke about 3 words of English but managed to talk non-stop in Thai for the first 10 minutes of our journey. He drove down our …

Day 1:

Though we originally planned on taking a full day train from Chiang Mai to Bangkok, we changed to a midday flight in order to get to Raj's in the late afternoon so we could pick up our suits. As expected, the suits, shirts, and pants came out very well and we all seem inclined to further business with our favorite Bangkok restaurant …

A 40 minute taxi ride later (Bangkok traffic is unbelievably bad) and a 20 minute search around Sukhumvit Road led us to R&R Apparel, home …

The flight wasn't too bad, the highlight being the 'sun’ loungers at Dubai airport – horizontal is good.

I had the lovely surprise of saying goodbye to Jerry who popped up at my elbow at CheckIn. Had a nearly tearful goodbye with the folks, a rush through Security they …

Apart from the fact no taxi driver or tut-tuk driver has ever heard of it the hotel is great. Clean, comfortable and quiet. 30 min walk from Wat Po. Perfect. Haven't tried the breakfast yet.
