The trip to Lucerne was very scenic and went past several little, and not so little, towns which were situated on the banks of blue green lakes. The 'express' train stopped at quite a few of the towns, which makes me think that the Swiss have completely overlooked the meaning of the word 'express'. Tree lined paths were filled with Sunday afternoon people on a stroll and wild flowers and roses decorated the banks near stately buildings. It was a perfect way to end our day's activities. Shortly after 6PM or 18:00 as they say, we met up with Elizabeth and Hans Ulrich who live an hours drive ...

... thing to notice but all residences and public washrooms (including train washrooms) seemed to have the same type of toilet paper (well maybe not color printed, I just haven't seen color-printed tp in a long time).

The tp is not too soft but not rough or scratchy and sturdy. It's actually alright.

In travelling Canada & USA I've encountered all kinds of ok to ****** (yes ****-py) tp that is thin, flaky, too papery and ...
