Back to the hotel for some reading and iPad games, before we headed up stairs for our included dinner of vegetable "cuppa" soup, a tough beef stroganoff with fettuccine and a doughy apple strudel with vanilla sauce (custard). It was absolutely lovely, although quite expensive, as we soon learned, everything in Switzerland was. We finished off sharing some chocolate mousse and then headed to our rooms for an early night before our big mountain outing the next day.

... to Lucerne. We walked to the outskirts of town from there to see the famous lion statue which is carved into a rock wall. We then walked through the shopping district and got some souvenirs. We headed home and had dinner again at the Pub.. where we met more Australians! One couple was from Perth and two others from Sydney. Such a small world! Tonight is our last night in Lucerne, sadly! We have really loved this ...
