... really safe or possible in the middle of a storm. Everyone is getting a bit cheesed off with it, so we save the mood by eating loads. That at least cheers Tash up. The rain does however give us the opportunity to sit down and plan what's next. Originally, we were going to head to Koh Toa Monday and do some diving, but this weather would make it a totally pointless trip. Next was to ...

Funny Day Safari - included an elephant ride, monkey & crocodile show (not at the same time), and a drive around the island stopping off at various landmarks or points of interest. Not that our driver told us much about anything, still a good day.

Of course we got back to Bo Phut a bit later than expected, and drinks were at a hotel for Marion & Doug's pre-wedding event. So the country cousins turned up, all wind swept and dusty from the day's outing.

... swings...lush. The best part being that there was ************e there.... Nice, relaxed evening had with the guys. Bit of pool and 'pass the pigs' was played. A bonfire was then lit on the beach which we sat around and listened to some jamming in the background to suit the mood.

The following day we left Bottle Beach via longboat and made our way to an elephant sanctuary...and that was the day I rode my first elephant!! They are awesome ...
