... with pretty gardens and ponds throughout. We were flying with Bangkok airways and it was the tiniest plane I've ever been on. It was only an hour domestic flight so I was pretty surprised when they came round with some free meals!

Lesson learnt: Scooters are dangerous (also driving in general in SE Asia) and can be costly if you damage them! Apparently the rental companies don't offer insurance so you just have to pay all the repair costs outright.

It was Gee’s 70th birthday and we went to an Indian for dinner. It took them half an hour to even begin to bring our drinks. An hour after ordering starters nothing had arrived. One of the men had left with an empty sports bag and we had joked that he was going to get out food from a takeaway. Namish went to see what was going on in kitchen. There was only a microwave... ... were having. The buffet BBQ was second to none and the speeches went down well. I had written mine that morning so all considering it was ok! The evening had some heavy drinkers and some not so much as they were in recovery mode whilst keeping an eye on the beach party which was to follow the day after, which we all knew was going to be another heavy session! An emotionally exhausting couple of days

We had a bit of a rest from Mike on Thursday as he went to Samui for the day. We did lots of washing and sorting out of our belongings. We also decided we are sick of living in a storeroom so we moved everything out of the apartment that shouldn't be there. If we were staying we were going to move all the things we've using such as cups, glasses and plates etc into the new staff apartment and the apartment we leave would have everything new in it.
