... locking it to the bridge over the River Salzach. They've been doing it for only a few years but it looks great - apparently having stolen the idea from Paris. ... have been tested on prisoners, as the Nazis disguised the gas chamber to look like a shower room with faucets, so that the prisoners would not refuse to enter it. All in all, seeing the camp was a very humbling experience.

After seeing the camp, we decided to go and check out the actual town of Dachau for lunch, as our tour guide mentioned how nice the town was. With a little help from Andy, we found a great little pizzeria for Carly's birthday ...

... we get out at 6 am ( no problem as we have still our jet lag) and go skiing in Kitzbuehel together with our friends Dirk and Anette . A phantastic day and exactly the way of life we were dreaming of when we decided to go to Prien. When now also our NL friends would be closer the world would be perfect!!
