... out of him at one stage.... even though he reckoned he didn't know the lyrics :) It was a fun tour - Wends and Lisa - you would have loved it ! and I'm sure you would have done yourselves proud during the sing-a-long bits - we were thinking about you :) Hope some of you die hard Julie Andrews fans recognise a few of the locations in the photos.... enjoy.... I'm off to watch the film again to spot some of the shots :) ...

... had we understood the row numbering system when we were looking for them, but everything was so far gone. It would have been tough.

From the cemetery we went to Mauthausen. Obviously it was a very difficult place to experience, but was important for all to see. The presentation is extremely well done, with the audio-guide providing commentary from survivors every step of the way. I don't really want to say much more about it other than to say I don't think ...

... we get out at 6 am ( no problem as we have still our jet lag) and go skiing in Kitzbuehel together with our friends Dirk and Anette . A phantastic day and exactly the way of life we were dreaming of when we decided to go to Prien. When now also our NL friends would be closer the world would be perfect!! Travelblok writing was a pleasure and a perfect aide memoire. We were never expecting that so many of friends would click in the link. A super experience. Ciao, ciao Eure ...

... transfers. The two options were in 30 minutes or 2 hours, but luckily the same ticket was good for both. We bought our tickets and booked it back to the hotel, hoping to make the earlier train. Thankfully the hotel was close, so we were able to grab our bags, get lunch to go, and still make it on the train in time to grab seats.
