          The drive was typical of southern Ontario. Lots of open land with corn fields going for miles. The small towns that make up the cross roads are plentiful. We decided to stop at one called Merrickville. It had a eclectic selection of country stores selling crafts, fudge, ice cream and knitted goods, you know the typical country general store.
