... out of wood that had the city's landmarks. We did good, I think. Both things were made right here in Germany, but many of the things we saw were not.

One thing we're not enchanted with are the public restrooms! You must pay .50 euros to get into one! And often we don't have coins. Even if you're in a restaurant or a shop, you must pay. We just don't get that.

We are staying in Amsterdam tonight at the Hampshire Hotel. Our train went via Cologne and we were able to go out from the station and see the massive Cologne Cathedral. It's right on a massive square directly outside the train station. Handy! As soon as we crossed into The Netherlands we saw bikes, bikes and more bikes! Everyone young and old rides everywhere here.
