    ... we got to the place where we would hike, there was no rain at all. In fact, the sun was coming out periodically throughout the entire day.     ... for the dinner we would have that night. He also made a delicious homemade apple strudel for our afternoon "tea." Oh my...I'm still tasting that one! For dinner we had Sauer Braten, Salat, and Knoedel (dumplings) with homemade Tiramisu for dessert. How am I ever going to leave this amazing place and people??? Tomorrow will be a sad day for sure.

    ... is nothing short of amazing. After the tour of the inside of the castle, we had a picnic lunch and then went to the Kloster Bebenhausen which was a former medieval monastery. Some of the buildings were converted into a royal hunting palace in the 19th century. While we were there we saw the Mayor of Tubingen...no paparazzi but a camera crew (of one)! I take that back...since I snapped a few pictures of him, I guess I qualify as paparazzi!

    The week started off with a rather rainy day on Sunday—not particularly good for the last day of festivities at the Neckarfest. After catching up on some items at the Pension, I did walk down there in the early evening to find something for dinner. When I arrived there was just a light mist, so no need for an umbrella.
