      Hi Family and Friends,

      Although it sounds like the battle cry of the Luftwaffe the harsh phonetics of its name certainly belie this beautiful soft and inviting city. .It really is a modern, technically industrialized city meeting the medieval past. I wasn't sure what to expect and had pinpointed this stop as more so a stepping stone down to Munich. I have been pleasantly surprised.

      ... a funny sight,trapeze artists,they even had a lions act. All very impressive and the 3 hours flew passed without one even realizing it.       ... which is very hard to believe and that the lakes get frozen over and everyone then ice skates on them! The Baerenschloessle was used by the then ruler as a hunting lodge where they would hunt deer and wild boars. They would scare the animals into the lake and then shoot them.Sounds horrid.
