... good company. Treacle wasn't very well (as usual) so I had a couple of 'quiet' days, on one I did lots of minor jobs about the motorhome including mending a cupboard catch, re-attaching the security camera in the cab, cleaning all the drains and giving the toilet cassette a spring clean! I also visited Graus on my motorbike and thought it a lovely town, my feelings enhanced by the fact it had a patisserie selling delicious cakes. I liked it so much I decided ...

We arrived this afternoon after driving via Toulouse. The drive up the mountains takes two hours and is a combination of winding roads and tunnels a few times all you could see was a mountain 100 metres ahead and no obvious road until you go around a bend. ... decided to come over to France because there were decisions to make on the Chateau. She was coming through Barcelona so we picked her up from the airport, as we were in the area. Only two hours away. We stayed a night in Andorra, and looked at tiles for the Chateau the next day.
There are a couple of red tape setbacks for the renovation, so Karina might not get as much achieved this year as hoped.
If you are in the area I'd love to see ...

... laid. The plasterers arrived and they have almost picked off all the old plaster in 4 rooms and then they need to re-plaster. One of the rooms is to be painted with designs/frescoes in the style of the 17th/18th century by the Toulouse School of Fine art so that one needs to be plastered first so that it has time to dry out before they come. We then have to install under floor heating, choose & lay tiles, paint, install cooking equipment, sort out ...
