Viva Las Vegas!!
... and no-one bats an eyelid. It's like the devil's playground! Anyway, I won't say more than that- It would take forever to describe the place and I still wouldn't do it any justice!
My friends went back home on sunday, but I stayed another couple of days with arthur, the cousin I met in san francisco who is in the RAF. How cool is it to have relations in Vegas, Long beach and san francisco?! Ok, sorry I'm boasting now...!

Viva Las Vegas! (This one was easy!!)
... at my hotel and we were taken out to Henderson airfield, around 20 minutes outside of Vegas, where our teeny tiny plane awaited us. It seated 18 people plus two pilots, and I was squished in the back like a sardine. I don't enjoy flying, and this was about a million times worse than a regular plane when it hit pockets of turbulence. Luckily we only bounced around a few times in the 50 minute flight down to the Grand Canyon airport in Arizona. Once there we boarded a bus ...
Vegas, baby!
... the front at all, but I'm not complaining either way! It was probably lucky that it was at the start of the trip though, before we'd been eating all the giant American portions!
That night we went and saw a Cirque du Soleil show, Zumanity, which is a burlesque type show. It was pretty good, but Glenn said it wasn't as impressive as the other shows of theirs he'd seen. We probably should have gone to the big water show, 'O' instead, oh well, something to do ...

26. - 30. August: Viva Las Vegas Okay, så stod den fandenfløjtme og kraftsparkemig på Las to the Vegas! Stedet hvor alkoholikere, ludomaner, stofmisbrugere og party-folk føler sig hjemme! Det er jo nærmest os!? Hold nu op, hvor skulle det blive vildt. Men bare ikke lige klokken halv seks om morgenen - dette er nemlig tidspunktet vi ankom på.
