    ... and chanting and everyone is dressed in bright green. I guess it's caused by onlookers rather like one of our motorway hold ups as, once we pass, the traffic jam miraculously disappears!

    We arrive at the station over an hour early so we splash out Rs25 each (25p) to sit in the air conditioned first class lounge. It has nice new looking comfy sofas and a clean toilet - worth every rupee of the asking price :-) Our train is on time and, as usual, the ...

    ... train to another
    city between Mumbai and Nepal. Although I'm not sure which one yet. We're all anxious to get to Nepal but it's really far away. It's been so nice here. I can't wait to show you some
    pictures and videos. I will send them tomorrow. We went exploring and

    ... and buildings, the coast line and of course the hundreds of slums. The flight only took 1hour which was great and we also got a free feed!  When we reached Goa we had a 45 minuet taxi ride too our hotel that was situated in a place called Calangute. The hotel was quite far out of town. We walked further down the road and headed for Baga then KV could show us where we'd be meeting for dinner later, after he'd showed us a few of us headed to the beach front for a few ...

    ... well Martin has and we also found Fern's a few nights ago , I managed mashed potato ! You know that age old Indian dish!!! Well it was very nice and safe. Last night we had a table booked at Ourem's , run by British couple and you have to book to get in .

    The food was excellent and great value , we shared pate and bread- so delicious , then I had fig and camembert salad , Martin went for a rare steak , it was really good , I didn’t have the biggest ...

    I've been trying for about 3 days now to write a new entry but have been experiencing a bit of a mental block (probably because I've spent the past 3 days sitting on the beach - not that interesting). However Goa definitely deserves to be talked about so I'll try and fill you in!
