... get in. So I thought why the hell not and they drove us 10km down the road, had a few pictures as payment and then drove off, leaving me in an even more isolated spot. Finally after 2 buses went past without stopping I stood in the middle of the lane until a bus was forced to test if it's brakes still worked. I think that might have been why the driver refused to stop for nearly 3km after I shouted that we'd gone past where I wanted to go. Step in stranger No. 2! Now really in ...

We landed at the newly opened terminal in Dabolem, anyone that knows how bad the old terminal was knows that the new one was long overdue, and anything built in India is normally long overdue. Woke up extremely rough!! We had breakfast in the hotel and after we'd pulled round a bit we hired a scooter for £2.50 for the day and a few others also joined us, there was Mirko with Dane riding on the back of his scooter and Helene with Tark on the back of hers, he couldn't drive because he'd broken his toe from the night before, dancing. We headed out to find Anjuna beach, KV told us to just keep asking people along the way and they'll ...

So with our time at Kipling over and a very sad goodbye in the early hours of the 3rd February, we were on our way down south to the famed party scene of Goa. We didn't really know what to expect but what we had heard was that it was full of Russians and not very Indian at all. Ok things weren't sounding too positive but we were ready to experience something different and if we are honest get a bit of healthy colour on our cheeks. As ...
