... buckets of water from the tiled floors upstairs and the garden now has herbs, tomatoes, aubergine and a calabacin alongside the neatly tied up and weeded habbas. It felt wonderful to select and plant veg from the market last Saturday, but Seb was cautious not to plant too much as water becomes scarce here in the summer. I strolled round town yesterday....quietly enjoying exploring. It's very different ...

... the coast and her anchor adrift. The bays of mallorca get busy in the summer and it's very common for tourist speed boats to be carelessly moored, causing anchor chains to tangle and entwine. After a quick foray to Soller on Saturday to investigate the ceramics 'este nov' on a fact finding mission, as much as to relieve boredom, I headed via bus to Valldemossa today. ... Just like yesterday she was excellent company on the ride home as we chatted horses and travel. Pete traded some valuable rope for regular fish from one of the old boys in the marina and created a beautiful light batter with flour and San miguel. Lovely fish and chip dinner to finish off the day! I love my weekends! Not that the work in the week is exhausting like it used to be...but the weekend gives me a chance to explore, and I have enjoyed doing so. This ...
