I suppose you could say the trip was a failure as we didn't sail all the way round Menorca, but we didn't sail round because we were having too much fun in ciutadella and later in Mahon, so we both agree another great sailing challenge finished with many great memories and a few scary wind driven moments.

But our daily routine continues with the odd change here and there. Elaine and David decided to spend some time on the sun deck rather than come straight down to the Solarium with Min and me. After a while David came down to us and he was holding a mug. "Hello," I said have you had enough of the sun?" ...

We left Nice at about 7.30pm last night and arrived at Palma Mallorca at about 2pm this afternoon. First impressions? Dump No 3. Not quite so many high rises, but still pretty dumpy. Lots of boats and ships, so it's obvously popular with some people. We're here until tomorrow afternoon and it's steaming hot so hopefully the ship will be empty with most of the passengers "getting on down" and "getting funky with it" in town. Although they may save ...
