Rafa came to pick us up in his vintage car - 30 years old and we heard it coming about 3 minutes before we saw it. We started our day at the stables brushing and then tacking up the horses. Paths, through beautiful spanish countryside, with the occasional off-piste trek making our own paths through the woods. (It was more of on top and in the trees rather than through.) ... the history.

Phil, Sophie and Sue visited the Arab baths built in 1194 and we all then walked along the path that is called St Christopher's Way taking many photos. We all thought the city was very pretty and well worth the visit.

The spanish do speak very quickly but we have been getting by with Sue knowing some Spanish and Phil with his Italian which has similar words.

... and Michael (a Dutch couple). We explored uncrowded beach coves in the off-season chilly weather, built fires in the fireplace and played vigorous, soggy soccer among the olive trees in the backyard. As we checked out, Violetta paid us a high compliment. She said: It is a happy family that can be together in a house in the rain.
