... satisfaction. It’s all real, in many ways it is as tough but not as hard as climbing Everest. But just like mountains, the memory of suffering fades and only the beauty, satisfaction and pride remain. There are many more mountains out there. So I will go back. I’m already spinning indoors during the dark of early November evenings. It’s just a question of when - and which event. Stay tuned.

To say the last few days have been a cornucopia of new sights and sounds would be exactly right. We leave the apt. in the morning and return late into the evening. Our eyes are filled with color and motion, ears are numbed by the cacophony of noises. The first I love; the second, I can get to be overwhelming. ... information was there very short opening times. We had managed to pick the one day of the year when ALL the museums were open, but we managed to actually view none. After enough walking and a quick explore of the cathedral, we hit the shops, initially to buy a magnet.
