Day 3, 4
Day 3 I wasn't traveling at all, I was busy working, However on the forth day I managed to go to a town not far from Barcelona called Lloret de Mar. It is a new town located just near the seashore, with wonderful forests at the same time. There are a lot of hotels there for every type of traveler.

... at Roses looked much better with a lot more seafood included.
After lunch we set off up to the castle, inside its walls are numerous little houses which are still inhabited, although the satellite dishes were rather incongruous! After all this exercise it was time for a cocktail followed by a spot of shopping before eventually heading back to L’Escala.
... by sangria which was followed by port. A very satisfying meal after a long day.
The following day loomed bright and beautiful. Milly had been regaling us with stories of hot chocolate and churros so we went in search of them – to no avail, but we did find that overnight a huge market had set up along the waterfront in L’Escala. There were plenty of bargains here, and it attracted a lot of customers from across the border in ...
... Chris had arranged accommodation for us at Salt, near Girona airport and somewhat closer to Barcelona, where the plan was to spend the following day. We went into the office and met the Manager, and attempted to explain the situation – he had very little English, (and we had yet to learn any Spanish beyond Hola) and promptly gave us the key for our unit and escorted us to it. The unit was small and quite dark until the shutters were opened, when we were ...

We love to travel and when we go abroad we like to discover the culture and costums from every place we visit.
Our area has a lot of interesting places to be ...
... Bonne lecture et surtout bon rire...
WE forget to point out a few last details about Ibiza, on our last night Catis fully offered ´pills´ ( not the kind that makes your cold go away... ) which she obviously declined... Since Ibiza we have been fully sick and poor Cat is dealing with my heavy breathing and snoring... earplugs have been much needed for her.. and sadly otehr backpackers that we have come accross...
Cat is too funny ...
cerca!
desp escribo desde la muralla!
... it was evident from everything he produced and how he lived. An incredible and inspiring love story.
I decided to take a little vacation from my vacation and work on my tan here in Cadaques. The sea, the sun and village wandering take up most of my time. I´m scheduled to leave here on Monday, but once I realized I could do whatever I wanted, life changed. Maybe that is my inspiration. Como un sueño.
This weekend IES Barcelona went on a huge "study journey" (it's college speak for field trip) to Costa Brava. The map you're seeing only lets me put one location, which is whack because in the course of three days I've been to six different towns. But most of them show up on that map.
Friday morning came way too soon for my group, which had to meet at Placa Catalunya at 7 45. When I got onto the bus I promptly passed out. And when I woke up, it ...
... us despite the fact that it took us 2 hours to 'find' this hotel. And by 'find' I mean stumble across, lost and wondering how to get off a mountain without heading engine first down a steep slope. Begur offers similar driving challenges than the other towns we visited but multiplied by a factor of 20. It has streets that are too skinny for bikes let alone tiny cars.
