... ship which was so simple, nothing like a big cruise liner. Our room #211 is lovely. Took a brief tour of the ship which has 3 floors. Dinner was very nice, me, beef stroganoff, Cristi, not so good chicken breast. The waiters came out with a firecracker on a cake and sang happy birthday. It was fun! What a great ...

It went in really easily this time, so less scared than I was getting it on there to start with. In fact, I'm just so less scared in general now! Then we joined the queue to wait in the heat to load up on the ferry.
Again, a lovely little cabin, this time with bunks and we decided to get food and go to duty free before my anti-sickness ...
... extra mile or two after several strong Belgian beers! We finally arrived at our room surprised that it was 10:00 o'clock as it was just getting dark. Exhausted after our first long day, we showered and crashed into bed. See you tomorrow.

We headed off to Bruges with our friend the Eurostar, with a stop in Brussels just to change trains. We followed the crowds in to the centre of Bruges and found that the central square (which was so empty in the movie) was filled with people and stalls as there was a food festival happening. It was 3-5 euros per entree sized meal prepared by the local restauranteurs so we had a few different bits and pieces which added up to a tasty lunch.
