... to find out what would happen if they wrapped in the gears. I pulled over to tie and tuck them in; no issue but was at the end of the group as I needed to catch up. I also noticed that the sun was strong and the trail was hard to see the hazards as the early morning had the sun right in our eyes. Just as the pace was relaxed and rolling through the parks you heard a bang and saw someone crunch over the handle bars. Even though there was nothing you can do, it was painful to see ...

    ... back then...!

It went in really easily this time, so less scared than I was getting it on there to start with. In fact, I'm just so less scared in general now! Then we joined the queue to wait in the heat to load up on the ferry.

I will ...

... food. It was scary to be in France as neither of us were very confident in speaking the language but we managed fairly well.

Next stop after Besancon was Strasbourg. A beautiful ride took us through the Vosge mountain range and up the Route des Grand Ballons, an epic twisty road which went on and on, up and over the mountains, taking in some amazing views of the Alsace. We landed in strasbourg pretty knackered. The day was spent riding really, although we took a nice ...

We left Paris and took a train to Brussels. Then, we took another train to Brugge. I was so tired that the moment that I touched the hotel bed I didnīt got up until the morning. I felt awful.

In the morning we decided that even if we were exhausted we were going the most out the day. After all, we only had one day to be in Brugge, and we didnīt want to miss anything.

    Apart of visiting the ...
