... Every year since the Holy Blood Procession takes place in Bruges. And guess who got caught up in the middle of it all? We were following our map to get to our rented room and found every street we needed to cross blocked off. We finally gave up as we wandered by accident into a group of medievally dressed citizens and one gentleman playing some kind of ancient belled instrument. They were lining up to join in the procession. Later we tried to cross at a ...

    ... back then...!

It went in really easily this time, so less scared than I was getting it on there to start with. In fact, I'm just so less scared in general now! Then we joined the queue to wait in the heat to load up on the ferry.

Again, a lovely little cabin, this time with bunks and we decided to get food and go to duty free before my anti-sickness ...

I had already stayed at Lybeer twice before and I must say: this was the
best time! The renovations have had a very positive impact on the
overal look & feel of the place. Still not finished (mid-2013) but
the new rooms really look amazing, I don't know of any other hostel with
such nice rooms. They told me the old kitchen is going to be replaced
soon as well. People seem to be having problems with the staircase but
    you have ...
